Hi Rosie,
Coming to your blog with thoughts...
(I feel like your blog is a safe space for healthy discussions with more understanding that judgments)
I've been aware of Suga's situation since it happened because of Tumblr, Twitter, or Instagram.
I found out about Jimin and I keep up with his stuff, and since he is in BTS, I have been aware of the group as well, I like a few songs and the guys are cool and very talented. But because of the way I interact with their content vs. Jimin, I know I am not Army. I don't want to call myself PJM either, I just like Jimin, but for some people, I know that's what they would classify me as.
The reason I explained that is because I feel like the people who are solo followers and don't interact with BTS as a whole are judged in general instead as individuals. Since I like Jimin, I follow a lot of Jimin focus accounts. But I don't know it it's because I am following very good people or if it's because this is happening with all solo followers. But I feel like Suga is getting support even from solos.
Many criticize solos because they don't support BTS as a group, but I think everyone is entitled to their interest without being judged because that's what they enjoy. As long as they are respectful and not attacking the other members, then it should be fine.
I, as a Jimin focus person, for example, I've been feeling very concerned, angry, and sad about the situation with Suga.
Concerned about him because I know that he has experienced depression, and depression is tricky because some people live with it for life, they just learn how to live with it, and when bad things happen, it triggers the depression, and someone on a depressive state can do things that unfortunately they don't have control over. And God forbid the worst thing that can happen, does happen. There was an actor that the witch hunt that the Kmedia provoke ended up with him making a sad choice.
So, that concerns me very much.
Angry with Kmedia, like what in the actual F*ck!
I, like many international people that follow things from Korea, we get to know about stuff that are happening there. So, since I follow people from Korea, I get a lot of content from there. So there has been waaaaaaaay worse things than riding a scooter while having a few drinks before. Even I with not alcohol in my system could have fallen doing that turn, I am clumsy. But Kmedia, don't hunt down those that have done way worse things like they have been hunting down Suga. So that shows their true colors. And I hope that they face the consequences of that in the future with BTS and their media participation in Korea, once they all get out of the Military. I hope they get very picky and petty.
And ultimately, Sad. When I read the second apology today, I legit felt my heart shrink. Like that feeling you feel in your heart, literally when you get bad news. This whole situation is sad and frustrating. All I can think about is that I hope Suga starts to feel the support from his fans, his members, and family more than the hate he is getting. I hope he starts to feel better and understand that this was a mistake that he owned up to and that what is happening is not his fault, that is just an over reaction of the people that want to see him fall.
It is tough to come to those terms because the negative pressure right now is tremendous, and there is no way to escape that mentally. So I understand his feelings. Plus, for all BTS, the opinion in their country has more weight to them, that the international opinions. That's their country, their home, and their people. Anything internationally comes second to them. And anyone who says otherwise is just fooling themselves.
In conclusion, the whole point of this post was to say that solos are not the devil many paint them to be. There are bad solo people, but there are bad Army as well. And I wish more people understood that.
Hey, anon. How’ve you been? First off, sorry for taking a few days to post your ASK.
Now, I want to start by saying that I really appreciate you considering my blog as a place where you can share your opinions freely, even if they might not align with mine. That’s one of the biggest compliments anyone can give me here.
So, about your ASK.
I think it’s important to distinguish between a Solo Stan and a (Solo) fan. Even though some might not see the difference, it’s not the same thing, at least not to me. There are plenty of things that set them apart, and those differences matter.
A Solo Stan is toxic. Full stop. There’s nothing more to it. A Solo Stan is selfish, almost obsessive. They believe their fav is the only one who deserves to win, the only one who can do X or Y. These are the ones who, in order to make their fav the sole “winner” in everything, throw hate at others, including the bandmates of their fav – this is especially true in BTS’s case. Basically, a Solo Stan is a toxic person.
A (Solo) fan, on the other hand, is just that – a fan. Someone who likes an artist’s music vibes more with that person, and that’s it. Since BTS started the second chapter of their careers, this type of fan makes sense. Each member has been able to release their own music that identifies them as solo artists, attracting new fans who only know them individually. Some of these fans transition to listening to more of the group’s music, while others don’t, and that’s understandable. I’ve always said that art is subjective, and music is art. So, we all have different tastes and opinions.
One thing that sets a fan apart from a Stan is the respect for the other members, even if that respect comes in the form of indifference. I’d say that’s the biggest difference. And this is where you come in.
You’re a fan of Jimin, sure, but you’re empathetic enough to understand what Yoongi is going through. You’re empathetic and mature enough to feel pain, frustration, and maybe even anger about how the Korean press has handled the situation, and at no point have you taken pleasure in what he’s going through. You don’t blame him or wish him ill. You’re not toxic. That’s the difference.
I can’t speak for everyone, but when I say I hate Solo Stans, I’m talking about the first group I mentioned. The selfish ones, the ones with hero and villain complexes, the ones who project a victim complex onto their favs, the ones who ignore what their own favs say and disrespect their wishes.

Seeing Yoongi think this way hurts so bad! All these people have caused him enough pain and damage, I can't believe he really had to write such things! You never disappointed us Yoongi nor damaged your memories you made with the boys! Please don't believe all those people! I'm so fucking angry and sad, I can't explain you how much! I want to bang my head against a wall I can't believe they made him apologize again and feel this way...
All these people need to pay! I'm so disgusted by everything!
I can't believe that he really thinks something could change in his relationship with the other boys because we already know they have reassured him and told him nothing bad happened! That they will be as they were before and love him no matter what! But with the bullying all these people still do to him is understandable why he is not believing anyone. Still, this is so hard to watch, I don't know how many times I cried...
We need to show Yoongi that no one saw those pics and videos! Not even an ounce of them appeared on our timelines, we didn't search for them nor opened any articles! I don't know if he really knows this!
I wish all these people that harrassed him, bullying him and continue to do so never know peace, happiness again, to always remind themselves what they did to an innocent person! I know this will turn back to them and I hope it happens soon and it's 100+ times worse than this!
We all have been hurt by what Kmedia did to him and by the suffering and pain we know that he's in with the so many times he apologized but the one who has been hurt the hardest and most of all is only Yoongi! And it's a torture knowing what happened, what keeps happening and how he feels. I really wish I could reassure him myself and give him a warm hug. All this bullying these boys have endured all these years is disgusting and crazy. I can't believe a country is treating its national treasure this way. BTS was, is and will always be good people no matter what anyone says! And they were, are and will always be 7 no matter what anyone says!
Let's hope this is the last time he apologizes and I hope he is seeing all the support all over Twitter, Weverse and the charting of his songs in the charts! I just wish he can get over this as smoothly as he can and to not leave him any pain or doubtness about everything. In June of 2025 I hope he will be the Yoongi we know, always love and support!
Min Yoongi we will always love and support you no matter what! Same for all the boys. I pray that you will be physically and mentally well, not hard on yourself and to know that the boys and us support you and don't blame you🙏🏼🫂💜

Not being jealous or mean I'm truly an ot7 army. but i noticed theres a diff in how media treats each member individually. like the amount of media coverage both kmedia and international jimin got from dior and now tiffany&co from the announcement of his new ambassadorship alone is insane 😭 and mind you, theres wasnt that hype with hobi (LV) or yoongi (valentino).I got sad when some armys legit didn't know about yoongis deal.myself knew about taes new ambassadorship after two days when I logged on twitter and it's was until I checked ot7 accs.other platforms were silent about it.so I was asking do you think it's true what some people say about media favoring jimin more?..I'm not a hater but I want to understand how this things work.because some members who I would think would make the noise are not,! jimin is making so much noise and its kinda unfair for my ot7 heart, because this whole solo era just made me think if jimin decides to leave the group his popularity will skyrocket even more cause it's like he has hidden fans not only army fandom and im selfish.
Okay... let me break it down like this
The Hyung line in general don't have as much traction as the Maknae line in BTS. It's not shade that's just the way things work in kpop- save for a few instances.
With Jimin being part of the Maknae line you should understand he is not comparable to anyone in the hyung line. He naturally will garner more attention than anyone in the Hyung line. He is Maknae too.
When it comes to the Maknae line, Jungkook being the youngest gets a lot of traction for the sheer sake of it. He's the Golden Maknae. The youngest in any group tend to get this level of traction and attention naturally- again save for few instances.
Wait. Hold up. Unfair for Jimin to get this attention?
I'm gonna ignore that and carry on with the post 😒
The media does not favor JM more it's just Jimin treats the media with more grace than the others- Suga calls out the media, Tae claps back at them, Namjoon makes snarky remakes about the media to their face. Jungkook just wants punch them in the face.
The media is not their friend. Do you see the crap they report about BTS? Do you see the headlines? They are assholes. Especially kmedia with their creepy asses.
When you say they are favoring Jimin all I can think about is the hosanna before his crucifixion.
Okay the last part made me smile 😃
The part you said JM has hidden fans made me melt won't lie🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
Good good, let's continue this conversation cos I was about to pull your edges off thinking you was an anti in disguise 😆
As I was saying, the hyung line has less social traction compared to the maknae line for a number of reasons beyond their control.
We really shouldn't compare the Hyung line and the maknae line. We really shouldn't. Even before their solos they weren't treated equally by fans. It's why most times we had to work extra hard to push their content and support them because if we left things to chance they would have tanked hard. I call it affirmative action and that's where the strength of OTZ lies. We balance these things out.
And let's not blame Jimin for it. Because truth is had it been Jk or Tae they would have overshadowed the hyung line too. It's rock beats scissors, maknae beats hyung line.
Among the maknaes, I feel Jungkook would have been the most followed out of BTS but his personality tends to be a bit controversial with the tattoos and dating scandals and I don't give a fuck attitude which kinda suits his personna but rubs people off the wrong way. even that he's still the Golden Maknae. Can't take that away from him.
Tae has the oppressed under dog vibe going for him. From day one, he was hidden by the company, he was marginalized as the alien of the group, laughed at by friends, raised on a farm, and his grandma died. Then it turns out not only is he hot and talented, he's goofy, has a heart of gold and has that bit of fire in him you just don't want to mess with him he will cut you
Yet however they both are missing something that comes naturally for Jimin- mystery and obsession.
I don't know how Jimin is doing it but he is doing it.
He has a shit ton of sex appeal, has a voice so unique it piques your curiosity, looks like nothing you've ever seen, mad mad classy, mature, disciplined, accessible, consumable- he has that level of success that looks attainable if only you follow his blue print.
Having the success of the Golden Maknae is unattainable to most people. Not everyone has youth on their side, not everyone has a perfect pitch to stand out of the lot, not everyone has the natural talent Jungkook has which comes without him even trying.
It's the same with Tae. To get the success he has you would have to be him specifically.
With Jimin it's different. His success does not rest on his looks or voice alone. In fact, I'd argue his success doesn't come from any of that at all and I think it's intentional on his part. He doesn't rely on luck- that doesn't mean he doesn't have it, he do. He just don't make that his whole personality.
And that's what Tae was talking about in I-land. There are very tangible aspects to his success. It's what makes him the rookie Bible. He demystifies success and makes it replicable. It's easy to look at him and feel inspired and assured if you work just as hard as Jimin then you should get the same results- except you can't work just as hard cos what he does is humanly impossible💀
Jungkook named him Tripple A effort guy and he's right.
I feel this is why a company like hybe would love him. He doesn't let his looks do the talking for him. He doesn't rely on his looks or say I have a unique voice and that's it. He leaves nothing to chance.
He is very interesting. And that interest often leads people into obsessing over him. Once you Jim in you can't Jim out.
Tae's haters and detractors don't care enough about him to follow him around and keep tabs on him.
Jk's haters couldn't give a fuck about him too.
However Jimin's haters are so obsessed with him they turn around to be his fans which is crazy🤣🤣🤣
They look at him and just don't understand why he's successful the way he is and I feel that's how the obsession with him begins 😆
They want to know where he's at, who he's with, what he's doing. Yet dude is so mysterious they get nothing out of him which only intensify their obsession😩
They will listen to his music all the way through just so they can come on the internet and say it's shitty- 🤣
Jimin is admirable. Brands admire him, regular folks admire him. People want him to succeed for the same reasons they may want someone like TAE to succeed. They are both a rags to riches story. Except they both have fans who engage in very different fan behaviors.
Which is what it all comes down to. Jimin's fans behave differently from any members' fans. Perhaps people should pay attention to that before acting jealous of him.
It's just as how BTS fans behave and engage in very different fan behaviors to other idols' fans. And don't hurt your head, there a countless experts who have tried to research Army to understand what it is about BTS keeps us tethered to them but haven't a clue.
Also let's not confuse followers for fans. Just because one member has a lot of followers does not mean they have the most fans out of BTS💀
People can fake accounts and follow anyone but not everyone of those accounts may be a true fan.
Jimin knows how to work the public. He knows what we want. He can enchant us and play us like a violin if he so chooses. He's behind a lot of the successes of BTS especially with regards to their public image.
He's a master curator, he's the voice telling them don't get drunk and vlive, move this way on the stage, hold it a big longer, post this, don't post that, why? Because he knows how to work the public. I'd say Tae too to be honest.
I don't think JM has fully stepped into his power. You are right to say his fame will skyrocket if he breaks away. He has the skills and experience, knowledge, creativity and discipline to make him forever relevant.
If anyone is going to become a household name I trust it's jimin because he gets it. He gets that talent alone won't get you anywhere, looks alone won't suffice you gotta be the whole package and HE IS THE WHOLE PACKAGE.
JIMIN IS THE WHOLE PACKAGE

Sorry if this is invasive (you don't have to answer), but do you speak French? The video I saw had English subs but they weren't don't very well so it was hard to put together exactly what he was saying and it seems like you were able to pick on more details.
But yeah his story more or less coincides with what I've always thought. Someone had to tip him off and let him know where they'd be and he somehow knew what he'd find hours in advance. I've always thought it's interesting he didn't sell the footage, especially now after knowing kmedia specifically wanted it. Makes me for sure think he was being paid elsewhere because why else decline a check? It's not like he was doing this for his own enjoyment lol
Hi anon!
My French is very limited to knowing only some words and sentences. I’m able to read it and understand it somewhat.. but spoken French goes way too fast for me to understand it. I’m sure some French armies will do their translations soon though.
What I find particularly annoying.. is how he makes himself look like the good guy by holding the footage three days. Which doesn’t even make sense if you count in that other people saw them as well and could have spoiled his scoop. Paps are literally in it for the money.. they don’t actually care about artists. I too think he was paid for doing this and not allowed to sell. Max control.

For 2025, as a tae stan I want him build a brand for himself, right now he's the quirky handsome guy from BTS,, even though his album performed really well his vocals are still largely underappreciated.
Like rest of the BTS members already have a solid identity: suga is the dope producer who writes beautiful lyrics, hobi is a fashionista/great dancer and rapper, rm has his identity as the level head guy who raps and appreciates art, jimin is the guy with angel voice and amazing dance, jk is the golden maknae/asian popstar(who wants to go global) but taehyung is still somehow stuck with the fickle perception of being weird, kind, handsome guy. Jin is stuck with the goofy hyung who shines in run BTS.
You know that I have listed what I think, I think both tae and Jin(waiting for his album) need to build better and more solid brand for themselves as artists.
You know, I’m kind of surprised that as a tae stan you would say something like this, I’m surprised you think all people know about him is him being “quirky”.
“Rm has his identity as someone who appreciates art” Taehyung made a name for himself, Vante.
“Hobi is a fashionista” Taehyung was the first member to attend a fashion week, he’s also the reason his brands are doing so well, in terms of sales.
He’s the only good baritone in the industry, got widely appreciated for it, he’s the reason the fandom is as big as it is right now (duplicated it with DNA, triplicated it with Dynamite), kmedias got a new name for him every single day, he’s the idol of idols and global stars love and appreciate him (Jon Batiste, Lady Gaga?), and he’s known as someone who loves and appreciates Jazz, so I’m surprised that you think he didn’t make a name for himself, that his only known qualities are him being… quirky? Like every quality you associated with a member can easily be associated to Taehyung as well.
Not attacking you, just surprised :)

YG confirmed Jisoo is in a romantic relationship with an actor. So it’s not YG that does it allow Taenni to confirm their relationship. It’s either Taenni themselves or Hybe? 🤔
But we been knew though honey 😩
Hybe has a no kiss and tell policy, doesn't like to get messy, and says they like to stay out of their talents private affairs🤥
Taehyung is... Taehyung. He hates when people try to get in his business. And he seems to have a love hate relationship with the kmedia. The result? We never getting that lukewarm tea we ordered sis😩
I recall posts saying YG reached out to Hybe and got no response. But these days they going with Hybe on the whole it's their private life slogan- they might as well have said Its true cos we all know how quick Hybe is to deny dating rumors that aren't true but when it's true they start stuttering and pulling the private life crap🙂
Don't get me wrong, it's great if they really have boundaries and respect their artist's private life. Its cool but I think that whole it's their private life shtick is just a bandaid.
I recall them slapping us with the it's his private life excuse during JKs Itaewon scandal and later had to walk that back and apologize for trying to sweep it under the rag💀
They really thought they could slap the clause on it and get away with😩
They deny what they can't admit and admit what they can't deny. The privacy clause is their safest bet.
I think Jennie don't care if it comes out or not. Unless one too many failed public relationships is starting to make her feel extra cautious- we would never know.
I find it fascinating watching them try to walk the balance between their need to protect their relationship and keep it sacred while also shamelessly and unapologetically being in love. They should grab a page from Jeon Jimin's page see how it's done😌
Either way, good luck to them both I couldn't care less bout straight people business. that tea cold af 🥴
That said, sis pulled a Ken 👏🏾
Good luck to them too. I don't care 😩

This may sound silly... but it also has a lot to do with the fact that Minheejin and Newjeans are both women. The younger generations see a lot of "girl/women power" and they are quite young and you know, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the reasons they support Minheejin is because she's a woman... Like feeling a certain camaraderie or "let's fight against bang pd and the (male) ceo of Hybe" "we're going to win" Also because everyone shows support for them, from kmedia, to big-name celebrities like JK... They know they have power and they're going to go for EVERYTHING they want, even bring back mhj...
May be my answer will offend some people but I personally believe that in general just because you are a women ,you don't have to support a women in every case ,if she isn't good or right ,not every women is good and not every women is a feminist and same goes for men ,we shouldn't generalize that all men are same and just because they are men ,they deserve a certain treatment, hate or any specific attitude or we need to fight against them or just because it's a women ,they deserve a certain previlige or treatment ,About Jungkook his statement is against use of artists in these kind of disputes and he ain't supporting MHJ,or even HYBE ,thats why i said to not twist his words ,about new jeans its kinda disrespectful to what they did I think after his support ,if someone in that company is taking stand for them ,they should be grateful, but we can do nothing if they don't want anything without MhJ

There could be a chance SGMB won't be released in other streaming platforms aside from YT on the 28th (same rollout i've seen njs had recently... one that I dont fully get btw but thats another conversation that will also include jms vision) so that could explain certain things but in no way does it explain or excuse that losers derisive reply and him mocking a simple fan request in that mocking way by posting about another artist song being SOTY??? I'm seeing kmedia started picking the news up and the coverage is good and calling it what it is..in all honesty idk how much all of this can do or if it will change something when it comes to the treatment jms releases get and that clear animosity some have for him, i know hybe is not in a good position in terms of public image and media perception so this could shake them somehow...and well if not then at least i need them and that person shamed in any type of way and for what happened to jimin to at least be aknowledged for once..

New blind item came out and it's talking about how the company has been planting the 2025 reunion in the media so that they all renew, and if some don't then they would be seen as traitors. Also they said, "everyone around them already knows the reunion is unlikely as the trust from all parties is now broken."
conveniently, an article came out yesterday about the reunion and how jk and tae are enlisting before the year ends even tho they can postpone it. I found it weird how they made sure to add that detail in there.
I've personally noticed how Yoongi is the main one pushing the 2025 reunion. Namjoon on the other hand has been the one to use more passive language like " i don't know what's going to happen in 2025", "no matter what happens in 2025", "IF we all come back". Bang pd even said 2025 isn't certain, and the backlash was bad. Lots of army were like "they promised they would comeback," so I can see some truth to this blind item.
What are your thoughts? The tiktok thekylemarisa talks about it
If BTS were under a slave contract do you think HYBE/BigHit would let them go on a 4 month break, or that they'd let them stop doing group work in favour of solo projects. Would they allow two members to do unsupervised lives? No.
These 2 comments from they blind item sums things up:
Why don't we hear about other HYBE groups being under supposed slave contracts? Probably, because HYBE generally is good with it's artists.
Also, this blind feels eerily closer to EXO than BTS, with Western gossip outlet trying to link it to BTS and crush HYBE who are making a big play for western markets. All this feels very similar to how BigHit and BTS were treated by KMedia back in the day with negative articles and gossip.
I fully expect the members to re-sign. But, if they're soo unhappy, then they would be employing lawyers like CBX.

Hi BPP! You seem kind if level headed about most things so thought you might have some advice. Since getting into bts I've mainly used twitter to keep up with things, but have long found it too stressful with the fanwars, the negativity to bts, some army loving dicourse too much and demands from some about streaming/voting (which I do anyway, but the guilt trip posts start to stress me out) etc plus reactions to anything seem amplified there. I've tried several times to curate my timeline, only follow official accounts and trusted update ones, but still a lot of nonsense ends up reaching me. I've even tried deleting the damn app, but always end up back because I've not found anywhere better for updates yet. Maybe its because I already suffer with anxiety that a lot of these things effect me more then they should, but with all the enlistment stuff I really think I need to find better places to spend my time. I used to use tumblr years ago (before I was into bts) and since blowing the cobwebs off my account and going through my old posts I remembered how much calmer being a fan on here felt, so I'm thinking this might be a good platform to try and spend my time on instead. My only concern is that I'll miss actual news and translations as twitter just seems a better platform for that real time. How do you manage your fandom experience? And are there any good blogs here you'd recommend? I just don't think I can handle each of their enlistment periods putting up with both kmedia nonsense and armys instant reaction to it like you said on one of your previous asks. I know it won't do me personally any good and if I'm just stressed all the time I'll start associating feeling stressed with the boys, which I dont want. Honestly finding your account where you actually discuss things in a calm manner has felt a blessing when I've been both over stressed by twitter and feeling a bit lost on tumblr so thank you.
***
Hi Anon,
I hear you on all this, but I think the way I 'manage my fandom experience' might not work for you because going by everything you wrote, I suspect we have very different personalities. Plus the way I stay updated is mostly from actually talking to people, friends in Korea and outside Korea, rather than checking in with update accounts and things like that. Like most of the time I'm online for k-pop, I'm online with friends on Daum... not Twitter or Tumblr. This is what I sort of organically developed over the years and during significantly crazier times in k-pop.
Occasionally I get asks wanting advice on navigating k-pop or fandom in general, and it kinda stumps me because fandom is just a microcosm of wider society so just do what works for you out there, in here. It's a process of trial and error, but eventually you'll create an environment you like staying in.
You're also doing all the right things already. You seem self-aware of your limits and how staying longer in an environment you find toxic could impact other things such as how you view the tannies + the fandom. You mentioned checking out different online platforms and I agree with you that Tumblr better allows you to isolate for what you actually want to see, way better than Twitter does. Tumblr, rather than Twitter, is the best platform to create an echo chamber which is essentially what you're asking Anon. I don't follow many accounts here and most of the accounts I do follow are pics accounts for the rapline and jikook, but one account I'd recommend that updates with current events for all BTS members very promptly, is @jung-koook.
On Twitter, I have notifications set on the official BTS accounts and usually add new events to my calendar right away (but this is also something I do generally for other events to stay organized). The people I follow on twitter outside of official accounts are friends who I've known for an average of 3 years (from all sorts of fandoms), as well as some producers and music magazine editors. I look out for people who seem genuinely interested in the music over anything else. I have a fairly big account on Twitter but I'm also a vintage twitter user (think circa 2007) and so I'm very comfortable navigating the madness happening on there daily. And this brings me to one big point: if you plan to spend any time in fandom, any fandom, you might have to work on your tolerance.
Basically, you can try to curate your online environment as much as you like, but so long as you're dealing with people or are anywhere you expect to interact with strangers, then you need a higher tolerance baseline. I answered another ask recently where I said fandom probably skews higher than the normal distribution of freaks in a population, so no matter the platform you're on, you're just going to have to expect to see weirdos. Like you might be surprised to learn that even with my apparent 'reasonable' approach with this blog open for less than a year on a 'calm' site like Tumblr, I've had my fair share of weirdos and manufactured drama. It's unfortunate, but also just par for the course.
The basics: block people you don't want to interact with, mute words you don't want to see or that add to your anxiety. You don't need to explain yourself, but also understand you'll still see things you don't like. With my personality it's easy for me unlook weird shit and focus on what makes sense to me, but for others I can understand if they need hard limits on that sort of nonsense.
*
TL;DR
Tumblr is better for creating echo chambers than Twitter. Tumblr is better for controlling what you want to see than Twitter is.
One account I'd recommend following here is @jung-koook who posts frequently and promptly for all the members.
On Twitter I have notifications set on the official BTS accounts. I mostly only interact with a handful of friends on Twitter though I have a fairly big account on there.
There's no shortcut to creating a space that works for you. It's trial and error but you seem to already be doing all the right things.
Develop a higher tolerance for weird. Fandom brings in all sorts of people, pay attention to things you like, block things you don't, and eventually you'll find your people. That's not a platitude, it actually generally works.
Goodluck Anon. 💜

Not saying jk is dumb but he's so innocent isn't he? He trusts those girls after all they've done..
No Jeongguk is definitely not dumb nor too innocent (and no one should claim or support this if they really know him, trust him and support him). I have refrained from talking about this since we don't know exactly what happened (there is no official statement about this from Hybe not Jeongguk himself, the Kmedia are not a reliable source after everything that happened with Yoongi and we should only be trusting the boys) but in general is not that Jeongguk trusts those girls, is the fact that he knows they have been manipulated and brainwashed by that psycho woman that he simply wanted to show that no one so young should be taken advantage of and put into a game by adults. He also maybe doesn't know how much these girls have shown their support to MHJ (the girls disregarding everything that have been revealed about her, same for their parents) since he is not chronically online nor has much time on his phone since he is enlisted or maybe he does know and he's aknowledging that people who have been groomed from a young age are in no position of understanding the severity of the situation.
He has been on this industry since he was too young, has seen the sh*t underage people have faced by grown ups in bigger positions and hierarchy and he knows much more than we do so I don't think anyone can blame him for what he did (if that was really him). We are in no position to judge or critisize negatively this move because afterall he is an adult that has every right to have an opinion. We can't always have the same opinion as everyone but we should always trust all of the boys in their decisions and thoughts. We know BTS are smart and kind people and they forgive people that have wronged them many times so this only shows how much of a great and considerate person Jeongguk is (and in general all the boys). BTS are one-of-a-kind people, their humbleness and kindness is so rare, their morals are above anyone else. He is not dumb nor naive, he is simply a human being that knows how to show forgiveness, humbleness and sympathy even to the worst people.
Tokkis fail to understand that his possible support is not extended to them that have been in the front line of every hate, lie and smear campaign towards BTS all these months. And it's also obvious that he's not supporting MHJ too. But Tokkis as it seems have also been brainwashed by that woman, the way they keep on saying that those girls need her. They don't understand that this way not only they're hurting the girls and falling into her trap but also show that those girls have no talent without MHJ.
He is only showing support to the girls as young people in the industry. We know that since their debut BTS had no support from any other fellow idol so they always try to be there for their juniors and to show them and give them that support they always wished they had. At the end maybe his attempt of a support might not change anything for those girls since they have been so adamant in supporting MHJ (and even now a member decided to post his caption including the emoji for MHJ), maybe they don't want to be saved.
Kook is kind enough to understand their situation since he went through the same when he was younger so he knows much better than anyone the industry and he wants to protect them. However we all know no one would do this for the boys and it's clear those girls don't give a fuck. He wants to support people who have been manipulated, not that woman but those girls want that woman to be added to the equation no matter what...
And the difference is that Jeongguk was surrounded by the members who are good anr kind people and were there to protect him, his parents too, even their families while those girls have none. Their whole families are on MHJ's side and instead of being responsible and sensible adults they let themselves also be manipulated by her and allow her to get close to them instead of protecting them. The only one protecting them right now and they fail to see it is Hybe, they exposed what she did and even fired her and they still continue to support her. The only mistreatment they are facing is by MHJ, never by Hybe as they claim. If it was another company they would have been fired alongside her, Hybe can see what she did to them and wants to save their career but it's obvious that's not what New Jeans want.
No matter what the truth is it's pretty clear that no matter who shows support to these girls directly or not they don't want any support nor want to be saved. Yes they went in this industry really young however half of them are adults and should understand when they need to stop and remain silent. No amount of manipulation can defend what they do but maybe they are still being controlled by her and maybe they're forced to comply to whatever she says or she may harm them. As I said they have no one to support them or guide them towards the right path. They definitely need a lot of therapy...
Personally I can't support nor defend these girls after everything they have said, although I know they have been manipulated and brainwashed by that woman but at the same time I will remain silent on what has to happen about them because I have no involvement with them and I'm only here to support and love the boys. Same goes for their fandom, they have been so vile towards the boys, they deserve no sympathy. MHJ definitely needs to be in jail for her crimes!

ik they love to play into the delusions a little too much as well but even so its like they want me to become fully obsessed with them and im just like nah imma keep u at arms length only this time. ive tried discussing this with certain ones and u end up being defeated bc their fans delusions is so strong that its pointless trying to tell them anything else bc they really do think their fave would never but most of them never know the idol no matter how much they convince themselves they do.
i wanted to ask when u have done readings on them have u ever picked up the vibes that they might be doing other things like since prostitutes keep cropping up in the kmedia about certain idols. i dont expect them not to have sex or hookups ofc not but at the same time it still surprises u in a small way bc of the nature of what they actually get up too like nct 127 members not paying the prostitutes for their yacht ordeal. it does make me wonder what my faves get up too without sounding too nosey or invasive bc im thinking itll come out eventually or theyll have another scandal or a member leave the group and so on. thats why im surprised bts have lasted this long with all their members in tact.
Hello
It's easy to fall for illusions, they look so bright and perfect.
''thats why im surprised bts have lasted this long with all their members in tact'' either they're good men, or they're very restricted by someone, or they're very good at hidding it.
About your request, I could ask about BTS then, since you mentioned then, alright?
Have a nice day, baby <33

Sorry but this is ludicrous 💀
They really are hooked on that koolaid 🤣
BigHit might have done some things different, more so as they began to gain popularity in the West, but they're not as different from the rest of those K Entertainment companies as you seem to think.
Their priority has always been about the green; getting money because in that world money equal power and status.
You are blissfully ignorant if you really think BigHit was prioritising showing you the 'readout of the goodness of their hearts and you are even more ignorant if you think what you see of the members even begins to scratch the surface of who they really are.
You don't know these people. You're working off the same set of clues as the rest of us and the clues BigHit shows you might make you think Jikook got something extra going but the off content clues, even as brief as they are, and the stuff we see outside of the media play platform are screaming out loud that it's Taekook.
And BTS were never shunned from KMedia as a whole. There's a ton and one of variety shows, interview shows etc that would have given their left nut for a BTS feature. BigHit pulled them and set up their own variety stiff because they wanted complete CONTROL over BTS image 💀
Yeah, BigHit is your like the other agencies. They're actually 10x worse when it comes to pulling the net tight and controlling the narrative.
You've been here for days, anon, writing War and Peace in the ask box so you're obviously insecure about something to be coming all this way to a space that wasn't created for your ship.
At this point, it's giving you trying to prove something to yourself rather than anyone else here be aue you still stay talking even when nobody is falling for your talking points 😂
---
On a side note, @dearweirdme , there's rumors on twitter that Taekook were/are spotted in Busan together so you should probably expect an influx of pressed jjkers coming in 😅
Hi anon!
That anon does not know how to choose between BH being different and letting members be themselves and BH chooses what they find most suitable for fans to watch. Conveniently the ‘being themselves’ applies to Jkk and the ‘BH inserts x for money’ applies to Tae and Jk 🙄.
It is a complicated matter overall.. and I do agree with that anon that money is an important factor in how the company deals with everything. However anon is a bit selective (and biased) in which situations fall in which category.

So I hear people (knetz? he-who-I-refuse to name zealots 🤐 looking for something to attack?) are trying to stir the pot for T.O.P because he "advertised" his wine brand on his jacket in the Still Life m/v.
Really? Because you feel the need to continue to hate and persecute and find something to drag him over the coals for because you think he still needs to suffer? Wow. Good luck ever being forgiven for anything in your own lives. I hope people will have the same empathy for you as you give out.
Yes, I know advertising is usually a no no in KMedia but for one thing it's not like anyone even KNEW what it was, it's not like it says Top's refreshing wine or whatever. Plus GD has worn PMO attire before and no one screamed bloody murder over it that I know of.
Just seems petty and yet another attempt at some imagined "retribution" certain people think it's their job to hand out til time immemorial. "Never forget!" 😡
Speaking of which, I personally want to slap every ignorant slanderer that brings up Daesung and "murder" or "killed" in the same sentence to smear him AGAIN because you're mad at fandom. You need to go back over a decade to dredge up the most traumatic thing in a person's life and mislabel it at that for some kind of sick personal satisfaction? Not to mention exploit a tragedy for your own imagined gain.
Please crawl back under your rocks. When you can actually admit the person you idolize is rightfully sitting in jail for crimes he committed and confessed to, then come talk to me.
Until then, trust me, you aren't ones to be throwing any stones.
#i wasn't going to say anything#but...#they make me so tired#still haven't ruined my happiness tho#so keep shouting in the dark#you became irrelevant about 3 yrs ago#bigbang#still life#i said what i needed to say
